PTS at the Eurospaceward now let’s go for the CCC

On December 6th,
we had the opportunity to present both the GoogleLunarX-Prize and our team at this years Eurospaceward conference.

Many thanks to William Pomerantz for allowing us to step in for him in on the GLXP intro presentation.

This year was the first year were GoogleLunarX-Prize teams from Europe had the chance to represent themselves.

There were a lot of very interesting talks and topics.

Besides us the teams Amalia (Team Italia), White Label Space and Open Moon visited the ESW.

As a short reminder:

we are going to present our Team concept along with our Hardware at this years CCC Congress in Berlin. See here.

One entire page …

If you happen be near a newsstand today. And furthermore they have this weekend’s edition of the Financial Times Deutschland. Go pick it up! Because the FTD printed a page long article featuring yours truly. We’re really happy about this positive article. The picture that made it into the final print isn’t too bad either. And I think we’re slowly arriving in the German consciousness. Thanks to Rainer Leurs for the great article and for coming to Berlin on such short notice! —- and here is the article ! —-

Team Part-Time Scientists at LinuxTag 2009

After four exciting and exhausting days at LinuxTag 2009, the team is back at home. In our bags are new experiences and a whole lot of positive feedback. We had the chance to thank our sponsors in person and meet some new potential sponsors along the way. Not to mention all the new contacts we made. Thanks again to everyone who helped to make this possible! O’Reilly for their continuing support. Texas Instruments for the technical dialogue. Neitworx for our T-shirts. RadioTux for the interview and the tickets. Robert – Team Leader

First of all

It is done! We’re officially in the competition now. You can take a look at the GLXP website here. Thank you who wrote to us in the last couple of hours and offering your support. We didn’t expect this much attention at all. I’m officially flabbergasted. Also thanks to Nicole, Sarah and the Comm Team over at the X-Prize Foundation for the great work so far and let's hope for a smooth cooperation in the future. And last but not least thanks to everyone who wrote us today and in the days to come. This mail storm left us with a lot to think about. Some of you will get an answer from us in the next week or two. To those who are considering working with us : Please write 3-5 sentences about you, your qualifications, motivations and favorite foods. So we get a better idea of who you are and what to do with you. A simple “I wanna help” is nice, appreciate the thought, but we can’t do a lot with that one line. It takes a village to raise a child, it’ll take a world to explore the universe. Let’s make it happen, folks. Moon by 2014. Sebastian
