My task on the team is ...
… to make sure that everyone on the embedded team is not only happy, but also busy! Together we tackle the difficult task of making electronics work in space and on the moon. As if this wouldn't already sound challenging enough, I dedicate a few moments of what is left of my spare time to keep our fans on Facebook up to date and entertained.
The best thing about being a Part-Time Scientist is ...
… doing stuff that I never thought of doing before. I never organized a booth for a trade show, let alone worked on one for 6 days straight. I also found very passionate people that I enjoy working with and one very lovely girl that I now call my girlfriend. :)
The worst thing about being a Part-Time Scientist is ...
Once upon a time, I had something called spare time. A time when I was sitting around and wondering what to do with it. This ain't no more. Part-Time Scientists is a time-sucking monster that I enjoy playing with!
My family and friends think ...
While my sister is not very convinced of what we're doing, my dad visited our booth at the International Aerospace Exhibition and is now fully convinced. He supports me and the team in our mission.
The first thing that comes to mind when I hear the word „moon“ is ...
… a dusty ball that sometimes looks incredibly beautiful and sometimes shines way too bright. ;) It also is probably one of the loneliest places I could imagine going and it's full of unexplored options. I would love to go there and play crazy golf, but I'm OK with sending a rover first.
What's your favorite kind of Pizza?
Either a plain tomato mozzarella one or a diavolo.
